I have never written a blog before, so this is a new experience for me. I have kept a personal journal for many years, so I am used to writing down my thoughts, just not for anybody to read. I wanted to start a blog in order to write in a more formal way and to get my perspective out in the world. I don't imagine that many people, if any, will read this and that is perfectly okay with me. However, if you are reading this then, hello!
I suppose that I should introduce myself now. My name is Rosalie Peyton. I am eighteen years old. I grew up in the same house in Illinois throughout the span of my childhood. I suppose that might be one of the reasons why I decided to go to college over a thousand miles away to Florida State University. Don't get me wrong, I love my house and my family. I just needed a bit of adventure. I'm not sure if I am necessarily getting the adventure that I was expecting, but I think that has more to do with me than my location. I am a pretty shy person and I also have pretty bad anxiety, so I have a bit of a hard time opening myself up to adventure. I guess I thought that moving so far away would be enough action on my part to get the ball rolling on my life's adventure. I was wrong. There is so much more to it than just changing locations. I suppose that that will be what this blog will be about; me fumbling through life and trying to find adventure through personal growth. Sound cool? No? Maybe? okay.
